Peter specialises in transformation, change and organisational design. For over 10 years he has helped leadership teams achieve change through developing and aligning their structures, process and people to meet their strategic aims. Peter works with clients in a range of sectors from national organisations to local bodies and SMEs, providing both strategic and operational input.

Peter has worked client-side in operational roles and understands the challenges that come from managing an operational unit, as well as trying to deliver change. Previous experience has been gained in Arthur Anderson, British American Tobacco and Thomas Cook. Peter has also led a wide variety of projects within the public and third sectors, including Doncaster Metropolitan Council, Ofqual, The Children’s Society, Qualifications & Curriculum Authority and NPW.

Some of the results Peter has managed to achieve for his clients have been:

  • Increasing staff engagement by 20%, and reducing operating costs by 5% as part of an organisation-wide transformation programme.
  • Increasing contract and income wins by 30% through design and delivery of a regional delivery model.
  • Achieving £0.85m (20%) reduction in salary costs across a services directorate to meet government targets, whilst maintaining existing service commitments.
  • Led the organisational design work stream of an organisation-wide transformation programme to define a new operating model, to significantly reduce operating costs (circa £50m reduction)
